How to play
Each day the survey logs five words or phrases that belong to somewhere in America. You get a usage sentence — never the meaning; knowing what a word means and where it lives is the game.
Tap the map to drop your pin where you think the word is said, drag to adjust, and lock it in. The word's true range blooms onto the map and you score 0–100 by how deep your pin sits in it. Some words live in two places at once — either home scores full marks.
